UKSSSC Age Limit

• For most posts: 18 to 42 years as of 01-July-2026.
• For two posts (Personal Assistant at Uttarakhand Judicial & Legal Academy and Stenographer Grade-3 at Power Transmission Corporation): 21 to 42 years.

Age calculation date: 01-Jul-2026. Relaxations apply as per government orders for reserved categories.

UKSSSC Personal Assistant & Stenographer Eligibility

Post / Department and Qualifications

• Personal Assistant (Commercial Tax Tribunal / Industrial Tribunal & Labour Court / Forest Development Corporation / Commissioner Kumaon Division / Rural Development / Stamps & Registration / Higher Education / Horticulture & Food Processing / Minor Irrigation / Information & Public Relations / Industries / Panchayati Raj / Divisional Food Controller offices / Housing Department): Intermediate from a recognized board, with Hindi shorthand at 80 wpm and Hindi typing at 4000 key depressions per hour.
• Personal Assistant (Uttarakhand Judicial & Legal Academy, Bhawali-Nainital): Intermediate, plus 1-year shorthand & typing certificate/diploma; computer typing 4000 key depressions/hour; shorthand 100 wpm (English) and 80 wpm (Hindi).
• Stenographer (Uttarakhand Public Service Tribunal, Dehradun): Intermediate with English & Hindi shorthand at 80 wpm and English & Hindi typing at 40 wpm.
• Stenographer Grade-3 (Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd.): Graduate; English shorthand 80 wpm, Hindi shorthand 60 wpm; Hindi typing 6000 key depressions/hour, English typing 7000 key depressions/hour; MS Office certificate course.
• Stenographer Grade-2 (state-wide, Bridgekul): Intermediate with stenography in English & Hindi; shorthand/typing 80/25 wpm (Hindi) and 80/30 wpm (English); MS Office knowledge; 3 years’ relevant experience.

Preferential qualifications

• 2 years’ Territorial Army service or NCC certificates (B/C), or Graduate/Postgraduate degree (where applicable).

• Only one online application per advertised post is allowed; multiple applications for the same post will be rejected.
• Ensure all eligibility criteria are met by the closing date.
• The name, parents’ name, date of birth, and exam centre cannot be changed after the application is submitted.
• Admit cards will be available online; no postal dispatch.
• Fees, once paid, are non-refundable.
• Prohibited items will not be allowed in the exam centre.
• The provisional answer key will be published online; objections may be raised online upon payment of ₹50 per question.
