Common Qualifications

• Intermediate (Class 12) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education or the state government.
• Minimum Hindi typing speed of 4000 KDPH on computer.

Post-specific requirements (examples)

• Computer Assistant, Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator, Computer Operator: knowledge of MS Office; for Computer Operator, a minimum 6-month computer course.
• Pravar Sahayak/Senior Assistant (BRIDCUL): Intermediate with Hindi typing at least 25 WPM and English at least 30 WPM, strong MS Office, 5 years' experience in government/semi-government/public sector, and at least 3 years in the relevant post/grade.
• Junior Assistant (Transport Dept.): must be registered with a local employment exchange in Uttarakhand.
• Telephone Operator (Raj Bhavan Secretariat): preference for EPBX system experience.
• Junior Assistant (Uttarakhand Judicial & Legal Academy) and Store Keeper: one-year computer operation diploma required.
