General Eligibility

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (with post-specific qualifications as applicable).
• Age: 21 to 40 years as of 1 July 2026.

Post-Specific Qualifications (Selected Posts)

• Principal, Government Intermediate College (Boys/Girls): Postgraduate degree + B.Ed. (NCTE recognized) + 3 years regular teaching experience with salary from government funds.
• Deputy Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad / BSA and equivalents: Postgraduate degree; B.Ed. preferred.
• Senior Lecturer, D.I.E.T.: Postgraduate degree with B.Ed. (M.Ed./Ph.D. preferred).
• Labour Enforcement Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Sociology/Commerce + Postgraduate Diploma or degree in Law/Labour Relations/ Labour Welfare/Commerce/Social Work.
• Assistant Labour Commissioner: Postgraduate degree in Economics, Sociology, Commerce, Law, Labour Relations, Labour Welfare, Social Work, Business Management or Personnel Management.
• District Probation Officer: Postgraduate degree in Psychology/Sociology/Social Work or related diploma.

• SC / ST (UP), OBC (UP), State Govt. UP employees, Basic Shiksha Parishad UP staff, Skilled Players: 21 to 45 years

• Note: Age relaxations as per government norms for eligible categories.

• Persons with Disabilities (PWD): Rs. 25 total (exempted from exam fee)

For Main Examination (if applicable):

• General / EWS / OBC and candidates from other states: Rs. 225 (Rs. 200 exam fee + Rs. 25 processing)
• SC/ST (UP): Rs. 105 (Rs. 80 + Rs. 25)
• PWD (UP): Rs. 25 (fee exempted at exam stage)
• Ex-Servicemen (UP): Rs. 105 (Rs. 80 + Rs. 25)

Notes: Fees are non-refundable and payable online via SBI MOPS.
