Eligibility Details

Project Associate

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Forestry) or M.Sc. Environmental Science
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of plant taxonomy, species identification, field data collection, preparation of herbarium specimens, digitalization, data entry, and handling of software

Field Assistant

• Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a government-recognized university/institution
• Desirable Qualification: Field work experience, knowledge of local vegetation, basic field data collection skills, record maintenance, and MS Office proficiency

General Information / Instructions

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Engagement is temporary, initially for 11 months, with possible extension based on funds and performance.
• Contract can be terminated with one month notice if progress is unsatisfactory.
• Candidates have no claim for regularization; the engagement contract may be renewed yearly based on performance.
• Selected candidates must sign a contract on stamp paper at joining and can resign with one month’s notice.
• Applicants already employed should apply through proper channels.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the last date will be rejected.
• CGPA/OGPA must be supported with approved conversion tables/formulas.
• The University reserves the right not to fill the posts without assigning any reason.
