Age Limits

• General candidates: up to 40 years
• Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: up to 43 years
• SC/ST and Category-1: up to 45 years

Relaxation

• An additional age relaxation of 10 years is applicable for differently-abled candidates and widows, subject to rules.
• A one-time relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit has been granted to all categories as per Government order No. ಸಿಆಸುಇ 262 ಸೇನೆನಿ 2025, dated 29 January 2026.

Educational Qualifications

• Homoeopathy Specialist Doctor: MS/MD postgraduate degree in Homoeopathy. If postgraduates are not available, candidates with BHMS and a minimum of 3 years of experience may be considered, without PG allowance.
• Ayurveda Specialist Doctor: MS in Shalya Tantra or MD in Panchakarma/Kayachikitsa.

Notes

• Post is on temporary contract basis under the National Ayush Mission.
• PG allowance applicable only to postgraduate degree holders.

If the last date falls on a government holiday, the next working day will be treated as the final date for submission.

Application Fee

• The notification does not mention any application fee. Candidates should verify the official notification PDF or contact the District Ayush Office, Kolar, for confirmation before applying.

Important Instructions

• The contract appointment is purely temporary and will end on 31 March 2027, subject to extension decisions by the Ayush Directorate and District Ayush Committee.
• Selected candidates must reside at the headquarters and be available for emergency duty around the clock.
• The contract may be terminated at any time without giving a reason, with one month’s notice by either party.
• No right to permanent appointment, pension, retirement gratuity, pay scale, or other allowances.
• The appointment is hospital-specific; no transfer or deputation to another hospital/clinic/district.
• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected without notice.
• Applications must be submitted offline (in person or by registered post) to the District Ayush Office, Kolar, in a sealed envelope before the last date.

• Filled application form (downloaded from the official website)
• Proof of educational qualification with marks sheets/certificates
• Category/reservation certificate (including sub-reservation), if applicable
• Age proof (SSLC marks card)
• Residence proof/certificate from the concerned Municipality or Tahsildar
• Proof of relevant experience (government-registered Homoeopathy/Ayurveda hospitals/clinics preferred)
• Two passport-size photographs
• Aadhaar copy

Original documents related to qualification, reservation, age, residence, and annual income must be produced at the time of the District Ayush Committee interview.
