APSSB Special Recruitment Drive 2026 - Apply Online for 984 Constable, Fireman & Special Tiger Guard Posts

Age Limits

• Constable Band, Bugler, IRBn, Civil Police (Male & Female): 18-22 years (as on 10-04-2026).
• Fireman, Special Tiger Guard (STPF): 18-32 years (as on 10-04-2026).

Age Relaxations

• APST candidates: up to 5 years over the upper age limit.
• Ex-Servicemen: up to 3 years, plus service deduction as per rules.
• One-time upper age relaxation for certain candidates of earlier Constable exams (as per Govt notification) for specific Post Codes.

Educational Qualifications (All Posts)

• Must have passed Class X / Matric or equivalent from a recognised Board.
• For Constable Band (IRBn): 10th pass with knowledge of playing band.
• For Constable Bugler (IRBn): 10th pass with knowledge of playing bugle.

Nationality

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.

• Release of Notification: 13-03-2026
• Opening Date of Online Application: 23-03-2026 (11:00 AM)
• Closing Date of Online Application: 10-04-2026 (03:00 PM)
• Extended Closing Date of Online Application: 20-04-2026 (03:00 PM)
• Tentative Written Examination: 14-06-2026 (Sunday)
• Tentative PST, PET & Trade Test: 25-05-2026 onwards

Application Fees

• APST candidates: ₹150 (non-refundable).
• Unreserved candidates: ₹200 (non-refundable).
• Fee payable online only; other modes are not accepted.

General Instructions

• Applications must be submitted online only. No other mode will be accepted.
• Ensure all details are accurate; no modification after the closing date.
• For multiple applications, only the latest submission will be considered.
• Admit Cards will be available on the APSSB website; no separate postal or email dispatch.
• Bring the Photo ID used in the application (Aadhaar, Voter ID, DL, PAN, or Govt ID) to the exam centre.
• Use of mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, and electronic devices is prohibited in the examination hall.

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the official website (www.apssb.nic.in) during the application window.
2. Click on the link for Special Recruitment Drive for Uniformed Services Combined Examination 2026 (Advt 04/26).
3. Register (if required) and log in to fill the form with personal and educational details.
4. Select post preferences and department; changes after submission may not be allowed.
5. Upload scanned photo and signature and pay the online fee.
6. Submit and print the application form and fee receipt for reference.
7. Download the admit card from the APSSB website when released.
