Age Details

• Posts vary with age limits; most posts: 18-32 years or 18-35 years. Ex-servicemen and PwBD have additional relaxations as per rules. Age is determined as on the closing date of application (10 August 2026).

Educational Qualification - Post-wise

• 16/26 Agriculture Field Assistant (Jr): Class XII (Science) from a recognized Board/Institution
• 17/26 Data Entry Operator (DEO): Class XII from recognized Board; Typing speed: 35 WPM; Min. 6-month Diploma in Computer Application (AICTE/APCTE recognised)
• 18/26 Field Assistant: Class XII with Mathematics/Geography OR Class XII in any subject + Govt. ITI survey course
• 19/26 Fishery Demonstrator: Class XII (Science) with Biology as one subject
• 20/26 Junior Secretariat Assistant: Class XII; English typing 35 WPM; Min. 6-month Diploma in Computer Application
• 21/26 Laboratory Assistant: Essential: Class XII (Science); Desirable: Diploma in Laboratory Technology
• 22/26 Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Class XII; Typing 35 WPM; 6-month Diploma in Computer Application; Ex-Serviceman eligibility for Sainik Welfare LDC
• 23/26 Record Keeper / Record Clerk: Class XII or equivalent; 1-year Diploma in Computer Application
• 24/26 Stockman: Class XII (Science)

Age Limit

• Varies by post; generally 18-32 years for several posts, up to 18-35 years for Field Assistant, Fishery Demonstrator, Laboratory Assistant, Stockman. APST relaxations apply; PwBD and Ex-Servicemen relaxations as per rules.

Special Note

• Some posts require a Diploma in Computer Application (AICTE/APCTE recognised).

Application Fee

• APST Candidates: ₹150 (Non-Refundable)
• Unreserved (UR) Candidates: ₹200 (Non-Refundable)
• PwD: Nil (Exempted)

Important Instructions

• Candidature is provisional at all stages; the Board may cancel eligibility if conditions are not met.
• Carry a valid photo identity proof to the examination center.
• Post/department preferences are final once submitted.
• No re-evaluation or re-checking of answer scripts.
• Electronic devices are prohibited inside the examination hall.
• Admit cards will be available for download from the official APSSB website; no physical dispatch.
