BHEL Trichy Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 530 Trade, Technician & Graduate Apprentice Posts

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 27 years as on 1 August 2026 for General category
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC (NCL); 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (minimum 40% disability)

Graduate Apprentice

• Qualification: 10+2 and full-time graduation in the relevant discipline (Engineering/Technology; B.Com for Accountant; B.A for Assistant-HR) from a government-recognized institution
• Marks: 60% (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS), 50% (SC/ST)

Technician Apprentice

• Qualification: High school pass and full-time Diploma in Engineering from a government-recognized institute, completed in the last 5 years
• Marks: 60% (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS), 50% (SC/ST)

Trade Apprentice

• Qualification: High school pass and full-time ITI pass from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute (NCVT only for Welder)
• Marks: Not specified in the notification

Notes:

• Only candidates who completed qualifying course in 2022-2026 are eligible. Distance Learning, Part-Time, Correspondence, or Sandwich courses are not considered.
• Candidates with prior apprenticeship elsewhere or with one year or more work experience are not eligible. Postgraduate qualifications (including integrated PG) are not eligible for Graduate Apprentice as per NATS process manual.
