Age Limits

• Full Time Super Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years (relaxation as per rules for reserved categories)
• Part Time Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years
• Full Time Specialist: Not exceeding 80 years
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation for reserved categories as per rules)

Qualifications

• Full Time Super Specialist / Part Time Super Specialist: MBBS and MD, DM/DNB (Cardiology) for Cardiology; MBBS and M.Ch/DM/DNB in Medical Oncology for Oncology; other specialties per post.
• Full Time Specialist / Part Time Specialist: PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty. Preference to Post-Graduates in Critical Care where applicable.
• Senior Resident: PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty.

Experience

• FTSS/PTSS: 5 years experience for senior level (where applicable).
• FTS/PTS: PG Degree with relevant post-degree experience or PG Diploma with 5 years experience.
• Senior Resident: 2 years post-PG experience or 3 years senior residence as applicable.

• Eligibility varies by post; no interview if not meeting minimum qualifications.
• Candidates must possess required professional indemnity policy where applicable.

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹50 payable at SBI, Ernakulam
• PwD and SC/ST: Exempted
• Fee details will be published on the hospital website.

General Instructions

• PwD candidates will be considered for the walk-in interview as per rules.
• The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to cancel or modify vacancies, schedule, or interview timing.
• Candidates must bring prescribed applications, original certificates, and one set of photocopies for document verification.
• The venue is ESIC Hospital, Udyogamandal, Ernakulam District, Kerala - 695584.
• Do not rely on separate call letters; arrive by 09:00 AM on 18-12-2025. Late arrivals after 9:15 AM will not be permitted.

Terms and Conditions for Contract Specialists

• Full Time Contract Specialists: 3-year period with annual evaluation; private practice not allowed; on-call 24x7; mandatory professional indemnity policy.
• Part Time Contract Specialists: 1-year contract with minimum 16 working hours per week; no leave entitlement; on-call for emergency duties.

Payment Details

• Fee payment: ₹50 for General/OBC/EWS (PwD/SC/ST exempted in many cases).
• Fee receipts to be published on the hospital website.
• Fee deposit method: cash at SBI Ernakulam, Account No. 1 (PwD/Female exempted).
