Income Tax Department Odisha Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 - Offline for 12 MTS, Steno and Tax Assistant Posts

Age Limit (as on 01-08-2026)

• Tax Assistant: 18 to 27 years
• Stenographer Grade-II: 18 to 27 years
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 18 to 25 years

Sportspersons may receive relaxation under DoPT norms, up to a maximum of 5 years (10 years for SC/ST) if other conditions are fulfilled.

Educational Qualifications by Post

• Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent, with a data entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
• Stenographer Grade-II: 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/University, with a skill test: dictation of 10 minutes at 80 wpm, followed by transcription within 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Sports Eligibility

This recruitment is reserved for sportspersons who have represented state or country in recognized competitions, or meet other listed achievements as specified in the official notification.
