Age Details

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 32 years (General)
• BVSc graduates considered for PC (age below 30 years on SSC grant)
• MVSc / PhD holders: age relaxation as per rules for ante-date seniority

Eligibility Details

Common requirements (Men & Women)

• BVSc / BVSc & AH degree from a recognized Indian university or an equivalent foreign degree (must be included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984).
• Internship must be completed at the time of application.

Note: Candidates not in possession of all marksheets and internship completion certificates need not apply.

Nationality

• Indian citizen, subject of Nepal, or person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (certificate of eligibility required where applicable; not needed for Gorkha subjects of Nepal).
