Age Limit (as on 01 October 2026)

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years
• Date of Birth: Candidates must be born between 01 October 1999 and 30 September 2006 (both dates inclusive)
• Age Proof: Only the date of birth as recorded in the matriculation certificate will be accepted.

Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech degree in the notified engineering streams from recognized universities/institutions.
• For Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year of the engineering degree may apply. They must submit proof of passing along with marksheets and produce the degree certificate within the stipulated time.
• Important Note: Graduation from foreign institutions may not be eligible for this course.
• Stream Requirement: Only the notified engineering streams and their acceptable equivalents will be accepted. Any mismatch between degree nomenclature and application will lead to cancellation of candidature.

Nationality

• Indian citizen, or
• Subject of Nepal, or
• Person of Indian origin who migrated from certain countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (certificate of eligibility required)

Marital Status

• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
• Candidates will not be allowed to marry during training and must not live with parents/guardians during training.
• If a candidate marries after the application date, they will not be inducted for training.

Physical Standards

• 2.4 km run in 10 minutes 30 seconds
• Push-ups: 40
• Pull-ups: 6
• Sit-ups: 30
• Squats: Two sets of 30 repetitions
• Lunges: Two sets of 10 repetitions
• Swimming: Basic swimming knowledge
