Age details

• All posts except Principal: 25-45 years (as on 01 April 2025).
• Principal: 30-45 years.
• Service in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas: up to 60 years.
• Age calculated based on 01 April 2025, using High School / Class 8 certificates.

Eligibility by post

• Principal: Post-Graduation in a relevant discipline with B.Ed/M.Ed or appropriate teaching experience. Age 30-45 years.
• PGTs (Hindi/English/Maths/Life Science/Chemistry/Physics/Computer Science): Master’s in the relevant subject with teacher training. Age 25-45 years.
• Lab Assistant: HSC with Diploma in Laboratory Technology.
• Office Superintendent/Clerk: Intermediate/High School with computer qualifications.
• Full-Time Teacher (English/Maths/Science): Post-Graduation with B.Ed or equivalent training.
• Caretaker/Accountant/Head Cook/Peon/Watchman/Assistant Cook: Class 8 Pass.
• Other posts follow the prescribed qualification per the official notification.

Note: The minimum overall qualification ranges from Class 8 to Post-Graduation depending on the post."

Application Fee

• Rs. 45/- must be affixed as a postal stamp on the envelope for Speed Post / Registered Post applications.
• Applications sent by ordinary post or courier will be rejected.
• Include two self-attested photos and all required certificates with the application.
• Attach a separate self-addressed envelope with Rs. 45/- postal stamp.

Other Instructions

• Only female candidates are eligible for teaching/non-teaching vacancies in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas.
• The notification and application form can be downloaded from the Kasganj NIC website.
• Selected staff must reside within the school premises; family members of permanent staff are not permitted to stay on campus.
• The number of vacancies may change; appointments are on a service contract basis for one academic session (up to 11 months/329 days) with potential extension based on performance.
• If applying for more than one post, submit a separate application for each.
• Reservation benefits will be as per State Government norms; attach required certificates (OBC/SC/ST/EWS).
• Qualifying candidates with moral turpitude or certain disqualifications are not eligible.
• Applications must be submitted via Speed Post or Registered Post; incomplete or unsigned applications will be rejected.
• The District Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel the advertisement; no appeal will be entertained.
