Age Limit

• 18 to 35 years as on 03-10-2026.
• Age relaxations as per category rules apply (SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Central Government employees, PGIMER employees, Ex-Servicemen).

Educational Qualifications

• Option A: B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing or Regular B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, with RN or RN & RM registration with a State Nursing Council.
• Option B: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with RN or RN & RM registration, and one year of experience in a minimum fifty-bedded hospital.

Note: Degrees/diplomas obtained through Open and Distance Learning must be recognized as per the Ministry of Education guidelines dated 10.06.2015 to be accepted for educational qualification purposes.

Application Fee

• PwBD: Exempt from payment.
• SC/ST: Rs. 800 + transaction charges.
• General/OBC/EWS and others: Rs. 1500 + transaction charges.

Mode of payment: Online via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. Fees are non-refundable.

Important Instructions

• Candidates may apply for more than one post if eligible but must pay the prescribed fee separately for each.
• No changes to essential personal details after submission.
• Caste certificates must be uploaded where applicable; OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificates must be recent (01-04-2026 to 03-10-2026).
• EWS certificates must be valid for 2026-27 and issued within the specified window.
• PwBD candidates must provide the disability certificate and may request scribe/reader time facilities with prior intimation to PGIMER.
• Central Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer.
• Roll numbers/admit cards will be available for download about a week before the exam; no postal dispatch.
• Mobile phones and other electronic devices are prohibited in the exam hall.
• Result notifications will be published on the PGIMER website; no individual alerts.
• There is no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets.
• Candidature is provisional at all stages and can be cancelled if found ineligible.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
