Educational Qualification

• M.D. in General Medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India with at least 5 years of experience after passing M.D. OR
• M.B.B.S with at least 7 years of experience after passing M.B.B.S as a registered Medical Practitioner.

Additional Preferences

• The Bank will prioritize doctors with an M.D. in General Medicine. However, if an M.D.-qualified doctor is not available, the Bank may engage a doctor with an M.B.B.S. qualification and 7 years of experience, if found suitable.
• Doctors currently or previously empanelled with PSU/Banks will be given preference.

Selection Process

• Applications received will be scrutinized by the Bank.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview via email.
• Based on the interview, final selection will be made for engagement to the post of Medical Consultant on a contractual basis.
• Engagement letters will be sent to selected candidates via email.
• If a selected candidate declines or does not accept the offer within the stipulated timeline, the next candidate from the waiting list (based on interview marks from highest to lowest) will be offered engagement.

• Interested candidates should send their application in the format provided at Annex-l. Include self-attested copies of PAN/AADHAR, registration certificate, educational qualification documents, and all experience certificates.
• The application should be sent by Ordinary/Speed post to reach the bank on or before October 24, 2025.
• The envelope must be superscribed with "Application for engagement of Medical Consultant on contractual basis at Punjab & Sind Bank, Staff Training College (STС), Rohini, New Delhi."
