Age Details

• Upper Age Limit: 69 years for all positions (Specialists, Super Specialist, GDMO, GDMO-OH)
• Maximum tenure: 70 years (subject to policy)
• Age should be calculated as on 20/01/2026

Qualifications by post

For Specialists (O&G, Pulmonary, Medicine, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Radiology, Critical Care)

• MBBS with PG Diploma / PG Degree / DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognized University/Institute
• Registered with MCI / NMC / SMC
• Valid medical practitioner license and enrollment in the State or National Register

For Super Specialist (Plastic Surgery)

• MBBS with DM / MCh / DNB (Super Specialty) / DrNB (Super Specialty) in Plastic Surgery
• Registered with MCI / NMC / SMC
• Valid medical practitioner license and enrollment in the State or National Register

For GDMO

• MBBS from a recognized University/Institute
• Registered with MCI / NMC / SMC
• Valid medical practitioner license and enrollment in the State or National Register

For GDMO-OH

• MBBS with DIH (Diploma in Industrial Health) or MBBS with Fellowship in Industrial Health
• Registered with MCI / NMC / SMC
• Valid medical practitioner license and enrollment in the State or National Register

Essential Requirements

• Indian nationality with requisite qualifications from an institute recognized by MCI/NMC/SMC
• Registration with MCI/NMC/SMC or valid practitioner license and enrollment in the State/National Register
• Preference for candidates with relevant post-qualification work experience

Important Instructions

• Walk-in interviews will be conducted at Office of CMO I/C (M&HS), Burnpur Hospital, Burnpur-713325, Dt: Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal.
• Bring the filled Annexure-B application, two passport-size photos, and all original documents with one set of self-attested copies.
• Advance copy of the application can be emailed with the subject line: CONSULTANTS (DOCTORS IN MEDICAL DISCIPLINES) AT SAIL, ISP, BURNPUR, latest by 19.01.2026.
• The panel will be merit-based and valid for six months; the engagement is contractual and non-regular.
• Candidature may be rejected for false information; joining subject to medical fitness.
• Category certificates: follow government/sector guidelines; creamy-layer OBC to indicate General unless eligible for valid OBC benefits.
• No changes in interview or medical examination dates will be entertained.
• The company reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the process without assigning a reason.
