Age Limit

The upper age limit for both RA-I and PA-I is 35 years.

Eligibility Details

Research Associate-I (RA-I)

• Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent degree, OR
• 3 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after M.E./M.Tech in VLSI Design / Microelectronics / Microelectronics and VLSI Design / Electronics & Communication, with at least one SCI-indexed journal publication.

Project Associate-I (PA-I)

• M.E./M.Tech in VLSI Design / Microelectronics / Microelectronics and VLSI Design / Electronics & Communication or an equivalent degree.

• Candidates must have a minimum aggregate First Class / CGPA 6.5 for all qualified degrees (B.E./B.Tech / M.E./M.Tech / M.Sc. / Ph.D.).

Desirable Skills (both posts)

• FPGA design and development, VHDL/Verilog programming; software skills: Xilinx Vivado, MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc.

• Basic GNSS receiver, signal processing, embedded computing, communication systems, etc.

• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.

General Information / Instructions

• The position is contractual for one year, extendable based on project duration and performance, up to a maximum of three years.
• Initial appointment is for one year, with possible extension on an annual basis subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.
• No TA/DA will be provided for interview or joining.
• Candidates employed elsewhere must produce a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.
• Selected candidates may be enrolled for Ph.D. programs subject to SVNIT eligibility conditions.
• An experience certificate and recommendation letter will be provided upon completion of the research work if required.
