Age Limits

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 44 years

Age Relaxation (as applicable)

• SC, ST, BC and EWS: 5 years
• Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
• Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 years based on regular service
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus length of service in the Armed Forces
• NCC Instructors: 3 years plus length of service in NCC

Educational Qualification

• A Graduate degree in Engineering in one of the prescribed disciplines.

Discipline-wise distribution (as applicable)

• Civil Engineering: 80%
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering: 15%
• Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics and Communication Engineering: 5%

Note: The result of the required qualification must be officially declared by the university on or before 18 September 2026.

Important Dates

• Notification Date: 18 September 2026
• Online Application Start: 23 September 2026
• Last Date to Apply Online: 17 October 2026 by 5:00 PM
• Hall Tickets: Seven days before the examination until 5:00 PM on the day before the exam
• Tentative Examination: December 2026

Application Fees

• OC and BC applicants: Rs. 1,000 + Rs. 120 (Examination Fee, where applicable)
• SC, ST and PwD applicants: Rs. 500 + Rs. 120 (Examination Fee, where applicable)

Exemption: All unemployed applicants are exempted from the Rs. 120 examination fee.

Fee Payment

• Fees are payable online via Net Banking, debit/credit card, or UPI. Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected through an objective written examination conducted in CBRT or OMR mode. The final merit will be based on marks obtained and applicable reservation rules.

Exam Pattern

• Paper I: General Studies and General Abilities - 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks
• Paper II: Concerned Engineering Subject - 150 questions, 150 minutes, 300 marks
• Total: 300 questions, 450 marks

Language of Examination

• Paper I: English and Telugu
• Paper II: English

Examination Centers

• Hyderabad (HMDA jurisdiction), Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Mahaboobnagar

Local Reservation

• The post is confined to Multi Zone II with 95% local reservations. Other states’ candidates may apply but Telangana reservation benefits are not applicable.
