Age Limit

Age limit is as on 01-07-2026. All candidates should have completed 21 years of age for all posts. Maximum age limit varies by post (some posts list specific maximum ages; many posts have no maximum age limit). PwBD and Ex-Servicemen relaxations apply as noted in the notification.

Eligibility Details

Post-wise qualifications (selected examples)

• Assistant Geologist (Post Code 1750/1863): M.Sc. in Geology or Applied Geology or M.Sc. (Technology) in Hydrogeology.
• Assistant Engineer (Agricultural Engineering) (1667): B.E./B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering or related fields; or other specified engineering degrees with conditions.
• Librarian (1845): A degree and B.Lib Science Degree.
• Translator (3106): Degree in Law with Tamil proficiency.
• System Manager (3664): B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT or MCA/PG in Computer Science.
• Drug Inspector (1972): Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with related specialization.
• Environmental Scientist (3606): M.Sc. in related science streams.
• Many posts require a relevant UG/PG/Diploma in their discipline and Tamil knowledge.

Tamil Knowledge

Candidates must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil as on the date of notification unless exempted for certain posts as specified in the notification.

Application Fee

• All Candidates (per subject paper): Rs. 100 per paper (plus Rs. 100 for each additional subject paper).
• One Time Registration (new registrants): Rs. 150 (one-time; valid for 5 years).
• Special Categories: Fee exemption available subject to eligibility and limits.
• Payment: Online only (Net Banking/Credit/Debit/UPI). Offline payments are not accepted. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
