Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 and 42 years as on 01 July 2026 (i.e., born between 02 July 1984 and 01 July 2005). Relaxations up to 5 years are provided for Uttarakhand SC/ST/OBC, PwD, dependents of Uttarakhand freedom fighters, and ex-servicemen as applicable.

Post-Wise Educational Qualifications

• For most posts (Post Codes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 13, 15): Bachelor’s degree from a university established by law in India.
• Post Code 5 (Assistant Director / Audit Officer): Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Post Code 9 (Deputy Education Officer / Staff Officer / Law Officer): Postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
• Post Code 10 (Assistant Labour Commissioner): Bachelor’s degree with Economics, Sociology, Commerce, Law, or related subjects.
• Post Code 11 (Assistant Director / Deputy Secretary, Sanskrit Education): Postgraduate in Sanskrit or B.Ed.
• Post Code 12 (Assistant Director, Factories/Boiler): Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Post Code 14 (Plant Development Officer Category-2): Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field.
• Post Code 16 (Case Worker): Postgraduate degree in Sociology, Applied Sociology, or Social Work.

Main Examination Fee (paid separately by prelim qualified candidates)

• Uttarakhand orphan children: No fee

Fees must be paid online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI. Fees once paid are non-refundable.
