Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 40 years

Age is as on 1 July of the year of advertisement. Relaxations apply to certain categories as per government rules.

Eligibility Details

Eligibility to Apply for the Main Exam

Only candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) and are shortlisted by UPSSSC based on their normalized PET-2025 score are eligible to apply. Shortlisted candidates are selected post-wise based on the PET-2025 score.

Educational Qualifications

As per the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department rules, candidates must have:

• A High School certificate from the UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, or an equivalent government-recognized examination; and
• A three-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Prāvidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, or an AICTE-approved equivalent.

Candidates must possess the required certificates by the application end date (7 October 2026).

• Last Date to Apply: 7 October 2026
• Last Date for Fee Reconciliation and Application Correction: 14 October 2026
• Note: Applications/fees submitted after 7 October 2026 will not be accepted. Printing of the application form is allowed only after fee reconciliation is completed by the bank (by 14 October 2026).

Application Fees

• Unreserved (UR), OBC, SC, ST: Online processing fee ₹25 only (plus any applicable online processing charges).
• A separate Main Exam fee applies later for shortlisted candidates; the exact amount is not specified in this notification.

Fees can be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must meet the educational qualifications and age limit as of the last date of application (7 October 2026).
• The form can be modified only up to 14 October 2026 within the fields permitted by UPSSSC.
• EWS reservations require an EWS certificate issued between 1 April 2026 and 7 October 2026, valid for the financial year 2026-27.
• Persons with disabilities must hold a disability certificate in the prescribed format from UP Government.
• Women candidates’ category is determined based on their father’s caste certificate.
• Government employees need a No Objection Certificate from their employer to participate.
• UPSSSC does not send individual notifications; candidates should regularly check the official site.
• Providing incorrect information or ineligibility at any stage can lead to rejection or debarment.
• Only the last submitted application is accepted if multiple applications are made.
