UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 1,308 Posts

Age Limit

All candidates: 18 to 40 years as of 01 July of the vacancy year. Relaxations apply for reserved categories and UP government employees as per applicable rules.

Essential Educational Qualification

• High School and Intermediate (Biology stream) from UP Board or an equivalent government-recognized examination.
• A 2-year, 3-month Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy from a university/institution established by law in India.
• Registration with a competent council/institution is not currently required in Uttar Pradesh (as per official correspondence).
• Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.

Preferential Qualification

• Preference will be given to candidates who have served at least 2 years in the Territorial Army, or who hold a National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'B' Certificate, as per Rule 9 of the UP Animal Husbandry Department Veterinary Pharmacist Service Rules, 2025.

Application Fee

• Online Processing Fee: ₹25 for all categories (UR/OBC/SC/ST).
• No separate application fee beyond the online processing fee at this stage.
• Fee for the Main Examination is payable separately only by candidates shortlisted for the Main Exam, and must be paid before downloading the admit card.
• Payment modes: Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan at any SBI branch.

Important Instructions

• Shortlisting for the Main Examination will be based on the candidate's normalized PET-2025 score in category-wise merit order.
• Candidates with PET-2025 scores of zero, negative, or under investigation may apply conditionally, subject to ongoing inquiries.
• Only online applications are accepted; no offline submissions.
• The Commission reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process as required.

Important Conditions

• Reserved-category candidates must mark their category; multiple reservations do not combine for enhanced relaxation.
• Non-residents of Uttar Pradesh are not eligible for reservation benefits.
• EWS certificates must be issued between 01.04.2026 and 05.10.2026.
• Date of birth must be proven by High School certificate or equivalent; no other document will be accepted.
• Fraud or misrepresentation can lead to cancellation and debarment.
• Horizontal reservations will be adjusted against their vertical category reservations.
• The UP Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 applies to this examination.
• The Commission does not engage in personal correspondence with candidates; all information is published on the official website.
• Passing the written examination does not guarantee appointment; recruitment may be modified or canceled as required.
