Age Limit

• All Candidates (General): 18 to 40 years
• Age reckoning date: 01 July of the year vacancies are notified

Essential Educational Qualification

• High School and Intermediate (Biology stream) from UP Board or an equivalent government-recognized examination
• A 2-year 3-month diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy from a recognised university/institution
• Council Registration: Not required at present (as per the Additional Chief Secretary (Animal Husbandry) letter dated 20.05.2026)
• Language: Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script

Preferential Qualification

• Preference will be given to candidates who have: served for at least 2 years in the Territorial Army, or obtained an NCC 'B' Certificate

• Online processing fee: ₹25 (for all categories). No separate application fee at this stage. Main Examination fee, if applicable, will be charged later to shortlisted candidates.
• Payment modes: Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / UPI, or SBI e-Challan

Additional Information

• This recruitment is online-only via the UPSSSC portal. No offline/physical applications are accepted.
• Shortlisting for the Main Examination is based on the PET-2025 score in category-wise merit order. Candidates with zero or negative PET-2025 scores are not eligible for main examination except under specific provisions.
• Ensure you have the PET-2025 score card ready; the application requires this registration number and OTP verification.
• Fee reconciliation and correction must be completed within the window ending on 12 October 2026. After this, corrections are not allowed.
