Age Details

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 26 years
• Age as on 05/02/2026 with relaxations as per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate Apprentice (Electronics and Communication): Full-time (regular) four-year degree in Engineering in Electronics and Communication or equivalent, recognized by AICTE, GOI.
• Diploma Apprentice (Electronics and Tele-Communication): Full-time (regular) three-year diploma in Engineering in Electronics and Tele-Communication or equivalent, recognized by AICTE, GOI.

Age Limit

• 18 to 26 years as on 05/02/2026, with relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Government of India guidelines.

Nationality and Domicile

• Indian nationals having domicile of West Bengal are eligible.

Other Eligibility

• Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship, terminated it midway, or have 1 year or more apprenticeship/job experience after attaining the essential qualification are not eligible.
