Eligibility Details

Educational Qualification

• A postgraduate degree, or a bachelor’s degree with Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Business Statistics, Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Advanced Statistics as a principal subject, from a recognized university or UGC-recognised institution.

Computer Knowledge

• Basic computer application knowledge as prescribed under Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Candidates without this certificate may apply but must produce it before appointment, or selection will be cancelled.

Language

• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.

Nationality

• Must be a citizen of India, or possess the nationality as per Rule 7 of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

Application Fee

• Unreserved (General): ₹500

Notes:

• The fee is non-refundable except for candidates who actually appear for the examination.
• The payment must be completed online by the respective deadline.

Important Instructions

• Submit only one online application; multiple submissions will lead to rejection of the last confirmed application with paid fee.
• After confirmation, no changes are allowed in the application, including category details.
• Upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background taken within the last year; keep 4-5 extra copies for later stages.
• Keep your registered mobile number and email ID active for updates.
• Widow candidates may receive 5% additional marks if conditions are met; similarly, sportspersons may receive 5% marks.
• Scribe/compensatory time facility is available for eligible candidates; requests must be emailed at least 2 days before the exam.
