Age Limit

• General age limit: 18 to 35 years as of 10 August 2026.
• Divyang (Low Vision) category: relaxations up to 10-20 years depending on category and gender, with an overall cap of 45 years.
• Age relaxations apply as per applicable rules for candidates already in government service.

Educational Qualification

• A Second Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) from a recognized university, or
• A Diploma in Engineering (excluding Civil Engineering) from a recognized board/university, with government-recognized status.
• In addition, about 2 years of experience in a post not below the rank of Junior Industries Inspector, Class-3, in the Commissionerate of Industries, Gujarat State; or equivalent practical experience in manufacturing or production in government or government-approved bodies.
• Basic computer knowledge as prescribed by the Gujarat Civil Services Rules, and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both).

Special Eligibility

• This recruitment is a Special Recruitment Drive for Divyang (Low Vision) candidates (LV 40% to 70%).

• Unreserved (General): ₹500
• Reserved categories (Women of all categories, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, Divyang, Ex-servicemen): ₹400
• Fee payment must be completed by 13 August 2026, 11:59 PM. Fees are non-refundable for candidates who do not appear for the exam.
• Fee is paid online through Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallet, with applicable transaction charges.
