Age Details

• General: 18-36 (Male), 18-41 (Female)
• Reserved: up to 41-45 depending on category
• Divyang: up to 45 for both genders
• Ex-Servicemen: additional relaxation up to a total of 45 years

Educational Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science from a university established under Central or State Acts in India, or a Deemed University under UGC Act, 1956.
• Completion of an X-Ray Technician course conducted by a Government Institute or a Medical College recognized by the National Medical Council.
• Basic computer knowledge as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

• General (Male): 18 years to 36 years
• General (Female): 18 years to 41 years
• Reserved Category (Male): 18 years to 41 years
• Reserved Category (Female): 18 years to 45 years
• General - Divyang (Male/Female): 18 years to 45 years

• Ex-Servicemen: additional relaxation equal to length of military service plus 3 years (ceiling 45 years)

• Candidates already employed in Gujarat Government in reserved categories receive relaxation as per rules.

Salary / Pay Scale

• Fixed pay for the first five years: ₹40,800 per month

Selection Process

• Single-stage written examination (MCQ-based) followed by document verification; no interview.
• Total: 210 questions (90 Part A, 120 Part B) over 3 hours
• Negative marking: ¼ mark per wrong answer
• Language: Part A in Gujarati/English; Part B in Gujarati/English
