Age Limits

• General: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 28 years. Not born after 01-01-2007.
• In-Service Police Personnel: Maximum age 30 years (Not born before 01-01-1995).
• Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per rules; service period may be deducted as applicable.
• Note: Candidate should not be born after 01-01-2007.

Educational Qualification

• Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board.

Domicile

• Must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with a valid domicile certificate issued on or before 17-02-2026.

Physical Standards

• Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) requirements as per the notification.

Application Fees

• General (OM/RBA/ALC-IB/OBC/ESM): Rs. 700
• SC/ST-1/ST-2/EWS: Rs. 600

General Information

• Applicants must be a domicile of J&K.
• The examination will consist of Objective Type MCQs in English only.
• Candidature is provisional and subject to document verification.
• Enter name and other details exactly as in the Matriculation certificate.
• Requests for corrections post-submission will not be entertained.
• Only one online application per item number is allowed.
• Reservation will follow the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Act/Rules.
• Horizontal reservations: 15% for women, 15% for SPOs (minimum 3 years engagement), 4% for Volunteer Home Guards (minimum 3 years engagement).
• PwBD candidates are not eligible for these posts.
• Mobile phones and electronic devices are prohibited during the examination.
• No TA/DA for written test or document verification.
• The Board’s decision will be final in all matters.
