• UR/EWS: 27 years
• OBC (NCL): 30 years
• SC/ST: 32 years
• PwBD: up to 37 years (UR/EWS); up to 42 years (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) where notified An additional 5 years relaxation for children/family members of the 1984 riots is provided; PwBD relaxations as per notification.

Discipline-wise Qualification Requirements

• Chemical: BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology or equivalent (Regular, 4-year) with 60% (55% for SC/ST).
• Boiler: BE/B.Tech in Chemical/Petrochemical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electrical plus BOE/Certificate; 60% (55% for SC/ST).
• Mechanical: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or 3-year after diploma or dual/integrated); 60%.
• Electrical: BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related fields; 60% (55% for SC/ST).
• Instrumentation: BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering/Technology; 60% (55% for SC/ST).
• Materials: BE/B.Tech in Chemical/Petrochemical/Chemical Technology/Mechanical/Electrical etc.; 55% for ST.
• Civil: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering; 60%.
• Fire: BE/B.Tech in Fire or Fire & Safety; 60%.
• CC Lab: Ph.D. in Chemistry or BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology; no percentage criteria for Ph.D.; 60% for engineers.
• Industrial Engineering: BE/B.Tech in Industrial Engineering or related; 60%.
• IT: BE/B.Tech in IT/CS/CT/CE; 60% (55% for SC).
• Rajbhasha: Master’s in Hindi with English (or vice versa); 60% in final year.
• Finance: CA/CMA or B.Com/Finance with 2-year MBA/MMS/PGDM in Finance; No percentage criteria for CA/CMA; 60% for postgraduate route.
• Marketing: Science/Engineering/Agriculture graduate with 2-year MBA/MMS/PGDM in Marketing; 60% (55% for SC/ST).

Note: Final year candidates are not eligible. Percentage conversions apply where CGPA/OGPA is given.

Application Fee

• General/OBC (NCL)/EWS: ₹1,000 + bank charges and GST
• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female: Nil (exempted)
