• Unreserved / EWS (Male): 37 years
• Backward/Extreme Backward (Male & Female): 40 years
• Unreserved / EWS (Female): 40 years
• SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years

Age relaxations:

• PwD: 10 years
• In-service SHSB candidates: 5 years
• Only one relaxation applicable per candidate

Post-wise Qualifications

• Obstetrician and Gynaecologist: MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, or DGO
• Paediatrician: MD/DNB in Paediatrics, or Diploma in Child Health (DCH)
• Anaesthetist: MD/DNB in Anaesthesia, or Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA)
• MD Medicine / Physician: MD/DNB in General Medicine
• General Surgeon: MS/DNB in General Surgery
• Orthopaedic Surgeon: MBBS with MS-Ortho/DNB in Orthopaedics, or MD in Orthopaedics, or D.Ortho

All posts require registration (or eligibility) with BCMR, Patna; MCI or NMC before joining. Applicants without current BCMR registration may apply but must submit an affidavit to obtain registration before joining. The cut-off date for age/qualification/experience is 01 August 2026.
