Age Details

• Age Limit: 18 to 28 years
• Age Reckoning Date: 1 July 2026
• Date of Birth Range: Not before 2 July 1998 and not after 1 July 2008

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Must have passed Intermediate (12th) with Science or Mathematics from a Board/CCouncil established by law in India, or from a recognized Uttarakhand school.
• Preferential (if applicable): 2 years of Territorial Army service or NCC ‘B’/‘C’ certificate.

Mandatory Eligibility (at least one of the following)

• Registered with an Employment Exchange in Uttarakhand as on the last date of application, or
• Uttarakhand domicile/permanent residence certificate, or
• Passed High School and Intermediate from institutions recognized and situated in Uttarakhand.

Nationality

• Indian citizen, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates in categories (b) and (c) require an eligibility certificate from the State Government.

• The application is considered complete only when the fee is credited to the Commission’s account by the last date and the status shows “Completed.”
• A one-time post-deadline correction window is available from 26-27 October 2026. Name, parents’ names, date of birth, and exam center cannot be changed.
• Admit cards are issued via the Commission’s website; no postal dispatch.
• Prohibited items: calculators, mobile phones, pagers, cameras, scanners, or other electronic/communication devices inside the exam center.
