Age Limit

• General: 15 to 24 years
• SC/ST: upper age limit relaxed by 5 years
• OBC: upper age limit relaxed by 3 years
• PwBD: upper age limit relaxed by 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: up to 10 additional years plus 3 years (with service conditions)
• Age reckoning as on 15.09.2026 (closing date).

Educational and Trade Qualifications

• Matriculation (10th class) under the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, as on 21.08.2026.
• ITI certificate in the relevant trade, affiliated to NCVT/SCVT, as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Important Notes

• Applicants with SSC/ITI results awaiting as of the notification date are not eligible.
• Those who have failed ITI must not apply; engagement, if any, will be terminated.
• Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible under this notification (they fall under a separate scheme).
• For specific trades (e.g., Laboratory Technician - Pathology, Secretarial Assistant - Stenography, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant), there are additional qualifications as specified in the notification.
