Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 62 years as on 01-07-2026
• Age must be verified using the high school certificate; other records are not valid for age verification.

Eligibility Details

General Qualification

• Most subjects require a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university, along with a B.Ed (Shiksha Snatak) from an NCTE-recognised programme.

Subject-Specific Qualifications

• Music (Vocal/Instrumental): Postgraduate degree in Music, or a Bachelor’s degree in Music with specialization (vocal/instrumental) plus relevant qualifications, plus B.Ed.
• Physical Education: Graduate degree plus M.P.Ed.
• Painting Arts (Ranjan Kala): High School and Diploma in Fine Arts (including drawing) with B.Ed.
• Other subjects generally require a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject and a B.Ed.

Candidates must possess the requisite qualification by the application closing date.
